About Tyler Connifey, LCSW

I’m Tyler Connifey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth therapy for adults across North Carolina. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, stress, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies tailored to each person’s unique goals and experiences.

Before entering private practice, I served as an Army Behavioral Health Officer, where I supported service members through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I value creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.

Seeking support can feel overwhelming at times, but you do not have to navigate things alone.

My Approach

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I believe effective treatment begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, compassion, and authenticity. My style is warm, conversational, and goal-oriented while incorporating evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, exposure-based work, and trauma-informed care when appropriate. Together, we’ll focus on developing practical tools and lasting insights that support meaningful progress both inside and outside of sessions.
